Why: To provide BBQ at a huge holiday part for the men and women who have given everything of themselves for our freedom and our country. We all have one common purpose: a strong desire to give back and honor the men and women who put their lives on the line in order for all of us to live in this great nation.

When: Sunday, December 8th, 2013 from 12:00 PM-5:30 PM, rain or shine

Where: 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073. Located on the on the Veterans Administration grounds in West LA, just West of the 405 Freeway, lot 29 adjacent to the Jackie Robinson Stadium

Who: Volunteers from over 100 restaurants and local businesses and the community at large, along with over eight hundred volunteers will serve our veterans. As many of the veterans return from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, many will be diagnosed and treated with extreme cases of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Traumatic Brain Injury, and physical injuries. These truths highlight just how important the Annual Veterans' Holiday Celebration has become, by honoring them, welcoming them back and showing, in a small but truly significant way, that there is indeed a home for them to return to. Volunteers will be providing homemade meals, gifts, entertainment and a huge holiday party.

How: We are looking for both people with smokers, and people who would like to help prep/assist.
