Cooking Taste of BBQ: Attendees will buy tickets for $2.00 for a 2 oz. sample; 50% back to teams. Event sponsor will provide taster cups, napkins and forks to all team participants
POWER - 15amp power is available. Sustainable power is only available with the cooperation of your fellow competitors. For sustainable power it is highly recommended that you provide your own source of power.

Prize breakdown as follows:
Grand Champion: $8 00 + entry fees waived for next year’s contest (2011) a minimum $250 value = $1050 total winnings
Reserve Champion: $500 + ½ entry fees waived for next year’s contest (2011) a minimum $125 value = $625 total winnings
KCBS Categories
Chicken, ribs, pork and brisket categories as follows:
1st place: $300 + $750 if using a Ranchers Reserve Brisket = $1050 potential winnings
2nd place: $225 + $500 if using a Ranchers Reserve Brisket = $775 potential winnings
3rd place: $150 + $250 if using a Ranchers Reserve Brisket = $400 potential winnings
4th place: $75
5th place: $50
6th -10th: Trophy
Note – Trophies awarded to GC, RC, 1st - 5th places.
Total Cash Amount: $4500 + potential Ranchers Reserve $1500 = potential $6000

Potluck
Friday Evening
This year's "potluck" will be located at your host "When Pigs Fly BBQ" a non-competiting team at this event. The "potluck will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the cooks meeting. Though not required, all are invited to contribute and share in this CBBQA tradition.
Please feel free to sign up for the Friday evening potluck. We will be needing main dishes, sides, desserts, etc.
