This weekend we will also be hosting our Sportsman's Expo, there will be much to see and do when you are done Que-in', and plenty of free activities for your kids. Your admission to this event is free. If you are camping, feel free to stay for no additional charge Saturday night and enjoy the grounds.

Info

Date: October 1 and 2, 2011

Location: Placerville Fairgrounds 100 Placerville Drive Placerville, CA 95667

Website: www.eldoradocountyfair.org

DIRECTIONS: Hwy 50 East, take the Placerville Drive/Forni Road exit. Veer right - you will be headed north, over freeway. At SECOND light, turn right (onto Fair Lane). There will be a Big Lots, Carls' Jr and Denny's restraunt. When you get to Denny's, slow down, you will be turning left into the fairgrounds at "YELLOW GATE". You will receive directions from there, and staff will be greeting you to spot you. This is a different lawn than last year, it is close to restrooms and showers, and our judging will be held in our 'Corker Building', which is much improved over last year's setting. There is a map of the grounds on our website... but trust me, you will LOVE it. All grass, shade available, picnic tables.
