With a Heavy Heart I must let you all know that this event has been cancelled-- By simply moving this event just outside of City limits to Lake Elsinore, the Rotary Club lost $15,000 in Sponsorship money from last yr to this yr and it simply can't afford to do this event on May 24th, 2014... Sorry for any inconvenience this may have cost any of you... as many know this was my baby (my 1st event ever) and is too bad it had to end before it's 5th birthday.... in any case BBQ goes on and hope to see you at the BEST of THE BEST BBQ and Boat Show on May 3rd, 2014 or at Pechanga on June 21st.... I have a new contest on 9/27/14 also-- details coming to you soon....

Sorry to hear that news. Would have been an Excellent Event.
Dreaming here, but if the contest could be moved back to its original, originally intended location... (wrong contest, but still a thought <g>)

That's too bad and to think I just mailed my registration for it. Looking forward to the Sept contest. One door closes and then another door opens.

Sorry to hear this. We were looking forward to returning to this event. Can't wait to hear about what you have planned in September.

Sad to hear that Henry. The first year you had it was the first time I had ever even been to a comp and where I got the notion I wanted to cook competition BBQ. It would of been a great one for us to cook this year, but luckily you have many more opportunities waiting for us!
