Since Family comes first, I can't do a two-night trip away from home.

Before I release my room reservation does anyone want it?

Yes - if you haven't let it go yet.

Hey teams,
Team meeting at 6pm Friday night August 23rd in the air conditioned banquet room. We will get you ice at that time and also the meat that many teams have generously agreed to cook for our public sales. Ice will also be delivered Saturday morning around 8am.
Please check in at the hotel when you arrive and they will give you the assingned parking space for your cooking team in the RV Park.
The awards will be in the banquet room at 6pm on Saturday night. Winners will be paid with cash vouchers that you can cash at the casino cashiers window.

I will be on-site if you have any problems Friday noon to 7pm and Saturday 8am to 7pm. Office number is 707 262-1900 x1112 or just ask for me inside the casino at the Player's Club or my cell is 707 245 7088. If you can't get ahold of me ask for my assistant Heather Begun. at ex. 1114.

Thanks
Carol Dellinger

Carol we are coming in Thursday afternoon. We have rooms reserved. Can we get our space and get the trailer plugged in?
If not we will have to plan on the ice chest for our meat Thursday. Thanks John

Attn Chuck Collondrez...you have added yourself to the confirmed team list but they don't have your payment or anyway to get in touch with you. Please contact Carol. A promoter should add teams instead of an individual team that hasn't paid. IMO

We're up to 20 teams! 5 more last minute teams and we have a qualifier!

I've driven two routes: 101/175 and eighty/29. If I were hauling, I'd use 101/175 however 29 is very scenic (but takes longer I think). Coming down from Lakeport on the 29, there is a spot overlooking the valley that is to die for. I wanted to stop but the road is narrow there. Best of luck my friends. Drive safely. Either route has plenty of twists so be careful.

+1 what Donna said. The first time we did this drive we went up 29 with the motorhome and trailer. Not a good idea at all. Took 175/101 home - much better motorhome/trailer drive.

You guys are a kick, I don't think the southerners have a sense of humor. LMAO. I just heard from a couple of 'legit' teams that they are coming, hope the southern teams don't drop a hammer on them if the team count rises enough for a qualifier.
