The comp this year is only one day I would like to see if anyone would like to do a rib cook off on Sunday. I would like to run it like I did in Antioch 2 years ago. The teams would put in $100.00 if we only get 5 teams or less it will be winner take all if we get more teams we would pay off more spots.

We will have a free entry this year with our rgc last year. Do I enter the app. And state that? Hog Island. I'll check with the team on the rib entry

Yes you guys get a free entry but you still need to fill out the entry form and send it in

I just check on the pay out from last year and it said that the GC and the RGC got a free entry into the 2013 and that was for both comps. So the GC and the RGC for the frist day will get a free entry to this comp but unfortunately the 2nd comp will not be taking place this year so there are no free entry's the GC and RGC for the 2nd day comp.

I read that to mean each corresponding day, although I admit it there is some ambiguity. If they meant both days I would assume they would have wrote both days. When in doubt the intent should be followed. If the GC and the RGC really believed they entered the contest thinking they would get entry for both days then perhaps the promoter and them can work out a deal. it is after all a bit of a raw deal that there will be no second day contest to get the free entry prize.

I thought it was going to be moved to the old town? I think it said 2nd st. I haven't checked in a while, may its been revised?

John it was going to be down town but there was a big event that day and the City did not want us there that week end. But the good news is that we already reserved it for next year. Also John can you fill out the application and send it in.
