As an incoming 2013 BoD member, I'm thinking the 2013 BoD is seated 1/1/13, same date as the contest, which means ToY approval isn't up to the 2013 board. The December meeting is "transitional" and I'm not sure what that means on BoD votes but my guess is that only the 2012 BoD members have vote before 1/1/2013.

Given that we're past the 45-day advance-deadline, I first have to ask "what date was the application and complete fee received?" to make sure we're observing the 45-day deadline. The authority on this is Adam ToY Commish, right?

The second contest, with turn ins on New Year's Day (Jan 1, 2013) has now been approved for ToY.

Both contests will be ToY events.

Sorry The Rib Doctor want be able to make it. It's a shame we couldn't cook in our RV spot, that's a deal breaker for me.
I like to keep tabs on my smoker from my bedroom in my coach.

Eva, why can't you park in a site next to your cooker? Should be plenty of room. 50 amp might be hard, but that's why we have generators. Come join the party!

Why can't you park next to your RV? We have enough Space for 100 teams at 40 x 20 spots... and 50 X20 or even 60 x 20 spaces should not be a problem...... The RV park (away from the site) is for folks wanting to be away from their cook area, and/or bringing extra rv's... if you want to park your RV in your area (like normal) there is absolutely no problem... I assume most will...

I just want to know when you close the entries on December 15,2012 and you do not get to 25 teams so it will be qualifier are you still going to take teams after the 15th so it can be become a qualifier because the most important thing to me is a qualifier not the ToY points

I don't think we will have to worry about 25 teams for this one... my guess is we will be somewhere around 40... Northern California quietly putting together a strong presence at this one, at least one more in the mail from the north.... Looks like a few more National teams are sending their entries in as well... What a field shaping up for this event... a great way to kick off the New Year!.... It still looks like we need more teams to make it qualifer are you still going to take entry after the 15th
