Vince and Alexa are in San Diego this weekend giving a seminar about "Taking your BBQ to the next Level", once they return home I'm sure they will address these concerns. I have spoken to quite a few experienced teams who will be attending.

"Fundamentals of Champioinship BBQ" will offer valuable information and insights about all aspects of competition barbeque and we believe it will be helpful for both rookie and veteran cooks alike. We say this based upon our own experience as students.
As some of you already know, we were students in a fundamental-style class given by Brent & Kim Walton in early 2007. The information we learned gave us a solid foundation and lead to us earning our first Reserve Grand Championship about 7 months later. Because we found so much value in their class, we decided to attend the same class when it was offered again in early 2008. The things we learned in the first hour of that class made us realize that while the information being presented was no different than that presented the previous year, our ability to comprehend the more subtle aspects of the material made the price of the class an exceptional value. Thanks to attending the class a second time, we went on to earn three Grand Championships in 2008. We repeated the class again in both 2009 and 2010, again seeing more and more valuable information as our experience level grew from year to year. Rhythm 'n QUE earned 7 GCs in 2009 and 8 more in 2010 and we attribute a fair share of that success to having "returned to our roots" and again establishing a firm grasp of the fundamentals of cooking championship barbeque.
