I'm in for judging

Total bummer about the rain. I was packed and ready to go when I realized there actually is a discussion board about the event that is seperate from the wiki linked discussion board. I almost hit the road hoping I would get PMed with the address. I understand now, but was genuinely confused about the method of keeping up to date on the event. The rain would have made it much less fun. I am sure Ric's decision is for the best.

Figures. We get what? 10, 12 days of rain a year normally? And mother nature decides that March 24th is a good day to rain. Darn!

Just went to get herbs for cooking and the grass is so saturated.

Well, that was my Sister from a Different Mister. My brother from a different mother, Kirk Bronsord, who was my other cooking partner can't make the 7th either.

I can cook the 3 meats with my remaining helper on the 7th but would not do the MM and now don't have EZ-up, tables, and basins.

Ya, caught us by surprise too. Had bought all ingredients & tri-tip and made the sauces.

For what it's worth (I'm not in San Jose), I had .62" of rain here Saturday!

It looks as if April 7th is problematic for many teams and judges. I will try to reschedule this event for later in the year.
