Ric's Backyard is now accepting teams and judges. Limited to the first twelve.

This year there will be a $25 fee to the teams to help cover the mystery meat and beer costs.

Open format judging

Chicken, ribs, Tri Tip and of course the mystery meat

Two bands lined up for this year.

Event starts Sat. with arrival time starting from 6:00 am on.

Friday & Sat. night camping available.

Wiki will be up within the next 24 but you can sign up now.

This is an event where experience weighs a lot and priority is given to CBJ's and very experinced judges. I am so sorry I did not make this clear in my initial post. So, to make this right I will accept all of the above individuals who expressed an interest in judging regardless of your experience as it will round out the field. This is an intense training for the teams and they will be taking what they learn to a competition. Given that most comps. are now a high percentage of CBJ's and just a few non certified judges that is what I try and duplicate. Thank you all for your interests and I look forward to having you as judges.

Thanks Anna but I carry my own house with me..Probably park in Rics driveway and pull out into the street early Sat morning
