Save the Date.. May 19th, 2012... The Richest Contest in California.. name of Contest TBA... KCBS sanctioning sent today, CBBQA TOY to be requested.

AT Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula,CA..... ENTRY FEE $349... Early Bird - $299expires 3/31/12

20 AMP Power included.... 50 AMP POWER (10 plug ins only-- 1st come, 1st serve) available @ only $75

All spaces 20 X 40... additional space MAX 20 X 80 available for $100 extra


Prize $$15,000

Breakdown

GC- $4,500

RGC- $3,000

(each category)

1st- $750
2ND- $500
3RD- $250
4TH- $150
5TH- $100
6TH-10TH- $50

Trophies to all above

Thanks Darry. Just found out this is the same weekend as Bakersfield.. and instead of asking for sanctioning (wether is far enough or not), I'd rather move the event so Bakersfield can be as successful as possible... I am looking at June 2nd or June 23rd depending on what Pechanga prefers.. Stay tuned

Will check with Pechanga... I know for sure you can Vend smokers, BBQ sauces, T-shirts, etc... as far as BBQ - I think they want PC only-- as they will also have regular food vendors (non bbq) at the event. Will update.

Sounds great. And I think that since it is on the reservation, we should not the stringent HD requirements, but I could be wrong.

wash station, normal common sense... no neting, mesh crap.. only Indian HD regulations-- basic common sense stuff.

This is Great if it meets the 300 miles from Bakersfield which is on the same day. I see a problem, Bakersfield is already posted on KCBS for that date.
