Smoke on the Mountain Fundraiser


Date: April 21-22, 2012


Place: San Jose Scottish Rite


The San Francisco Jr. Giants, in conjunction with Golden Rule #479 Masons for Mitts, would like to invite you to participate in their first ever BBQ fundraiser for the Jr. Giants.


Each year we try to raise enough money to purchase 1000 mitts for underprivileged kids in Northern California so that they can play baseball. Please join us in a practice cook to help make this happen.


This is going to be a great practice before the Morgan Hill contest , so come out and get ready for the season.


Awards: trophies and cash (TBD) for GC, RGC and 1-3rd in each category


20 Team max


$100.00 entry fee (no cost for power or HD)


Booth Space 20x20 RV for overnight camping is allowed


4 Meat contest (pulled pork, brisket, pork ribs and chicken)


Teams are able to check in Saturday with judging on Sunday.


We are asking teams to donate their extra meat for PC to the public, all proceeds will go to the Jr. Giants Masons for Mitts Program. We will supply both tasting cups and assistance at your booth if needed.

Where's the Scottish Rite?

edit - Never mind, I found where it is.

Someone should get reps from KNBR ala Murph and Mac show or reps from the Giants down there to promote.
