Hi all, just thought I'd throw a line out and introduce myself. I've been BBQing and smoking for quite a few years now with my simple offset barrel. I am completely new to the world of competition even though the wife has told me many times that I should get into it. Well, anyway it looks like there is a great mission here and I hope to pick up some tips and tricks and maybe even share a couple.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. As far as what I like to cook, I'm pretty wide open. I like the good 'old chicken, ribs, brisket, tri-tip etc but also like to try different things from cheese to fish to you name it. Food, especially BBQ, is a labor of love to me.
