Truly bummed. We are booked for a catering job on Sat the 8th. We were thinking of another Q-fest North at the lake, but the last time we tried to do that the same year of the Oinktober Fest, Q-fest bombed, so we will forgo that thought this year. Maybe next year.

If so, is there a list started somewhere?

Talked with Leonard today and he has been busy getting his place ready for the Oinktoberfest and has been busy catering. This will be a hoot of a weekend.

Wish I could hang with you all on Friday, but gonna be fishing on the Delta all day.

Arriving Friday Oct 7th will be Harry Stewart, Fischer Clan, John Chips, Tony McDowell, Morgan McDowell and assorted folks from Chuck Wagon BBQ.
John Chips is breaking out his big cast iron to make a big pot of Gumbo. We will have other asst side dishes so that people arriving will not have to cook anything.

Arriving Saturday Oct 8th will be Bill Bain, Tracy Allen, Pat and Sean Kenneally, David Schmidt, Scot Gomes,and others.

We have 3 whole Hogs--Harry Stewart is cooking one---Smokepranos are cooking one with Mondo Guzman's offset with rotiesserre, and Tonay and Morgan McDowell will be cooking one on my rotiesserre with my assistance. We will be prepping pigs Friday night and starting the pigs early morning hours of Saturday morning. Judging will be at 12 noon, 1pm, and 2 pm. The leftover meat will be cambroed up the street to Dunstone Hall where the 4H kids are selling meals for a fundraiser. They are serving from 1 pm until 6 pm.

Saturday morning assorted pork entrees with pot luck side dishes and Bloody Mary bar.Saturday lunch will be assorted local sausage products with pot luck side dishes. Saturday dinner will be pork from the whole hog plus pot luck side dishes. A few locals will party with us Saturday night.

Sunday morning will be Chorizo and eggs with assorted pot luck side dishes.We will have a dish cleaning station and several tables. We will need more chairs.
If anyone owns a fire extinguisher for use at comps please bring them--if fire marshall shows up we want to impress. Butte Conty fire marshall is likely to show up because he is a CBBQA member.
