We have finalize our cook off on May 27-29 Brentwood Pal Presents "Blues,Brews & BBQ's at the Street of Brentwood you can go on KCBS and see it will also be on CBBQA.Our web page will be up and runing soon. We are working on the Prize Money. We are also having on Friday Pot luck.Also we our going to have Salsa, Chili and Anything Butt Winner take all for each $20.00 Entry. You can sale on Friday your Chili and Sat.you can sale only your four meats from 12:00 to 9:00 PM. The Entry will be $300.00 and for *****(Early Bird Discount, Only $250 if Postmarked before April 15 th)
On Sunday will have a backyard cook off.

The prize pool starts out at $7,000 for 35 teams after that the prize pool increases to $7600 for 40 teams, $8300 for 45 teams and $9000 for the maximum of 50 teams. Check out out website www.palbbq.com for entry forms

Jeff- If you get less than 35 teams is the prize pool still $7,000?

Yes the if we get less then 35 teams it will not go lower then $7000.00 We want to get all 50 teams.

You can look at the prize money on our web page www.palbbq.com and you can also get the Entry froms.

Since this would be first contest would this be a State Championship qualifier for the Jack. This would be good weekend for a double header up North. :thumbsup:

Well bummer. Saw this thread some time ago, but there didn't seem to be much movement and ended up accepting a catering job that weekend. Guess we won't be able to make it, and it's so close. :sad:

It is only 90 days away from our first BBQ cook off at the Street of Brentwood. Go to our web page and sign up palbbq.com. The dead line for early bird is April 15,2011 or call me at 925-570-9446 to sign up.We are having a pot luck on Friday night.

very nice sounds like fun and close to home is a bonus with gas over 4.00 bucks
