I loved the venue and the event. Wouldn't suggest anything, EXCEPT, a second out house and more TP. I know it may be crude to discuss such things in open forum.... but for those of us who need such conveniences.... Other than that, this was a well planned and very hospitable event. Thanks again for everything.
Couldn't agree with you more Mark. More folks came in Friday night than I expected, so this was the first time we actually needed two out houses, and we will for sure take care of that next time . Other than that, glad to hear you enjoyed yourself.

We've already covered that - a 2nd outhouse would be needed with this many teams.

There was more paper bc I left to go buy more, I just got caught up in other things where I should have checked *that* more vigilantly. SORRY!

$200 raised for CBBQA in the process!

It's not that much, but this is what we ended up with after passing the hat to the teams and judges, and having paid for the items we used/needed for this event.

Boy it was fun wasn't it?

Mark your calendars for next year already ;)

That is great news Ben! Considering this wasn't really a fundrasier, $200 is a great amount!

It was a lot of fun and the best part was just getting to hang out with everyone!

I just wanted to say thanks to Dave & Deny for allowing us to use this location and being such great hosts. I also wanted thank to Ric and Ben for their assistance and insight. Thanks to the judges for their constructive in put, this was truly an eye opener for me. Jason, thanks for your help setting up & loading up. Bob G. (Be O Be), fellow Stumper & Egger, thanks for the laughs. I had a great time and met a lot of nice folks.

Jess, glad you had a good time and did well. Also was good to be set up next to you and I enjoyed our brief conversation. Ya, Jason is a good guy to work with.

What a cool event. Thanks Dave, Deny, and everyone else who helped put it on. It was nice to be able to stay Saturday night. BBQ people are the best.

All the teams were winners. The educational feedback from the judges was better than winning 1st place. Well, Easy for me to say since I didn't win 1st. Ha!

We posted them, but they have since disappeared. Not sure where the post went, and I no longer have the results sheet. I'll PM Ben and ask him to post them on the Wiki. I can tell you we took 1st in chicken and ribs, and GC .
