Well the first official Bay Area BBQ Championship has concluded and the very first thing I want to do is thank all of you!! Without all of your teamwork we would not have had the event that we did.
I already have two pages of things to do for next year (easy access to water is the first item!). I sit down with the A's in the next week or and begin negotiations for next year. We will have the 2012 date chosen by the end of September once the MLB schedule is finalized.

I really have an enormous amount of gratitude for all the teams, judges, volunteers and sponsors who came together to make this happen. And in the end, we all brought together a day of great BBQ, community and happiness to many foster children, youth and families who often forget there are positive things to do and see in the the world.
