A special congrats to Dale and Tammy for their 1st GC and to the Rub Co for the RGC. As always, Quen for Kids was an amazing event with Kelleigh S. to congratulate for making it happen.
Congrats to Brian Z (Country)- Pageant Mr. BBQ. You had to be there to witness him reigning as the King.
I enjoyed meeting some new friends and hanging with some old.

Finally home safe and sound! We had a fantastic weekend! Great to see old friends, meet new ones and finally get to 'meat' folks I have chatted with online for months!
Congrats to Dale and Ryan (and their support crews of course) for the excellent finish! Balancing PC for this event is a challenge in itself (I know from Morgan Hill!). Congrats to everyone else who heard their names called! Top 10 walks and trophies was a really nice touch! Congrats to the other rookies as well...it is a privilege to be competing against you.
This was a really well run event and looked like a lot of fun for the public to attend. Great job by the organizers and I hope you met your fund-raising goals! What a good cause!
We were pleased with our turn ins, although I undercooked my brisket slightly...over cautious from last weekend where I over cooked it I guess. It was nice to see the SoCal judges liked our stuff as well as I was concerned there might be some different regional expectations. Finally a break through in chicken! Whew!
Special thanks to my right hand lady, Sherry...I couldn't have done it without you!

Wow, what a great event. Congrats to Dale & tammy for GC, and to my buddies at the Rub Co, great job for RGC! (Thanks for the Kosmos too, you saved me!)
Kell and staff, as usual, a very well run event! The public turnout was huge, and hopefully we all helped raise money for such a great organization.
K&K, great job as always!
Congrats to all who took a walk, can't wait for Vista!

I'd like to add my congratulations to all the teams who walked. Special congratulations to Dale, Tammy and their secret weapon, Debbie Schroder, who can now claim being a GC member two years in a row. Time to claim your half of the equipment and start your own team.
Thanks to Kelly for all her hard work in getting this event together year after year. You and the team outdid yourselves this year.
Great to see long time bbq friends after so many weeks on the road. It takes me back to 06/07 when teams just starting like When Pigs Fly, Four Qs,(with Bigmista) and others where haning at Chris Rocke's (Rancho Rocke's) place just a few miles up the freeway learning how to do this.
Another special thanks to Big Country, Brian for his good nature and sense of humor at the awards.
Benny

Congratulations to all that walked. BIG congratulations to The Rub Company. I would like to thank Tammy for her support, sacrifice and encouragement. Thank you Debbie (aka Secret Weapon) for joining our team and your years of friendship.
Kansas City here we come!
Oh, as far as claiming half your equipment I agree, get what is yours you deserve it.

WHEN PIGS FLY GC!!!!! We are beyond happy for you guys. Good things happen to good people and you guys are the epitome of just that. We have been in a couple comp slump so it’s definitely nice to break out of it and get another RGC. I owe a huge thank you to Benny for fixing our Stokers AGAIN!!!
Thank you to Kelleigh and her staff for running such a well organized event and K&K for repping KCBS in the best way! We had a ton of fun boxed in with our good buddies from Left Coast Q. Most of all, we need to thank you sponsors Kosmos Q (www.kosmosq.com) and T&H Meats (www.tandhsausage.com). You guys always hook us up with the best products!
We didn’t get in the money in the Ranchers Reserve category but we had fun with it. Here is our 5th place box.
