Okay, is Clovis happening? I thought that it was having conflict with Clovisfest. Any feedback on this would be great.

Also, has Viejas not set a date yet?

Thanks I worked long and hard on it. Not really, I just stumbled upon it while on the home page. I'm not sure who set it up, but I thank them.

Ric Gilbert & I are working on filling some gaps in the contest schedule. More details to follow, just wanted to give everyone the heads up on dates & location.

I see that Viejas is missing from the line-up. If someone knows for sure that it's coming back, then shouldn't we at least have it listed with a date TBD?

I've heard that they're beginning to plan this year's Viejas event but haven't heard any news on the date. I would assume it to be the third weekend in October as it has been in the past. (Friday & Saturday, October 16 & 17, 2009). Again, this isn't official just some rumblings I've heard.

We talked about "TBD" items, and the consensus was until a date is announced it doesn't go onto the calendar.

We are going to do the Christmas Party Cook Off in Dec
This contest will be in SoCal
Maybe The NoCal Folks could do one up there the same weekend
There are a few contests to take care of first

Okay...but the calendar says "TBD" for the date. That's why I was wondering if Viejas should be listed, since the only thing missing is the exact date.

Extremely limited number of teams will fit
This will probably be a double contest

Go to our main page (CBBQA.org), under the calendar on the right side you will find under UPCOMING EVENTS a link to the Complete Calendar.
