Ran across this experimenting. I have used lots of pappys seasoning in the past as a quick dry rub. I always felt that it just didnt have enough black pepper for my taste and I always added some. One day while I was shopping at my favorite bulk store I found some McCormicks garlic pepper. I tried it and felt that it just didnt have enough salt. Then a light went off and I mixed equal parts pappys seasoning with garlic pepper. (Mix a jar or each and put back into the jars) I am in love with this new rub. Did some new york strip french dip the other day with it and OMG got rave reviews. Try it and you will be pleased. Im gonna throw in some brown sugar for my ribs and see how that comes out....Mark
