Received a question on championship and competitor series and how team totals will work for West Coast.

For ToY points, we count the championship teams only. Competitor series is a separate contest and is not a ToY qualifier.

Competitor Series Teams: Welcome to competition barbecue! Looks like it is going to be a great competition.
CBBQA's Team of the Year rules specifically recognize KCBS Competitor Series as an amateur event and it does not affect a team's ToY rookie elgibility. Great news if you decide to move up to Championship Series later. Feel free to stop by the Championship Teams and find out what the next level is all about.
