Maybe we may can pull this one out
No Prize Money Low Entry Fee Style ($75) ish
Winner is Royal and Jack Draw if we hit needed team count
TBD 15/25 ( This was unsanctioned for two years)
It would be a State Championship in any event
No Crowd No PC Just us cooking
KCBS if it is a Qualifier
ABC if not

No crowd, no PC!! Sounds like my kind of event.

When and where are you thinking Thom?

I am interested in helping any way that I can. Let me know.

Yes Thom, would need more info before commiting.
Like, where, and when.

No payouts, is the entry fee covering just costs involved, or does it include tropheys?

If it is sometime between Hesperia and Fairfield, we would probably attend. But still need the where question answered, even if only an approximate location.

Thom, I cooked previously with Gary Notley of Notley Que at IB and at Viejas last year. If this is the IB event, or somewhere near San Diego, I would be interested in putting together a team to compete in this event. Thanks!

Why not?

I actually have a lead on a BBQ event in the City of Oxnard, that I hope to pass on to one of our Promoter Gurus.

This is probably not going to be in Oxnard
Encinitas is our free location
We can look at others
LOW COST is what drives this
yes Trophies and Banners for the winners
I am looking at dates
We don't want to bump into any events in the West
So before Taylor AZ and after Hesperia is our target

Aaron you are very welcome to come over and Help Kelly with the Judging process

like I said 15 teams for the Royal KCBS, 25 teams to get to the Royal we go ABC

Encinitas would be great. I have in-laws out there I can stay with.

I'm in for Encinitas...I hate driving over the hill to Oxnard (plus, it's a dumb name for a city).

Hesperia is June 28 so I know it is after June 28. I don't know when Taylor is. What is that date?
