I would like to be able to purchase at reasonable prices various flavored wood chunks for smoking meats in the LA area. Have been unable to locate a good source on my own. Preferrably on the West Side. Does anyone have such leads?? Cole

Call over to Whitt's Woodyard, West LA and see what they got for chunks. On Sepulveda just north of Pico

There used to be a place in Marina del Rey displaying huge stacks of firewood. Don't know if it's still there. On the inland side of Lincoln, east of Washington.
Googled "firewood marina del rey" and came up with this. Location is close to what showed up.

Don't know if they still carry them, butI used to get hickory chunks at Walmart but that was a few years back when I was still using my Offset.
