I just got the feb Bull Sheet. On page 13 they reference to Saint Lawrence and it seems to me that they are also associating a fairly disturbing depiction of him that they say was found on the CBBQA web site.

Anybody seen this yet and if so what is your take on it? Did that pic exist on this site at one time?

On Edit it does exist....

Yeah, it's kinda disturbing to me, and nothing much disturbs me. Page 12 of the Feb 2013 Bullsheet.

The Italian Saint's comments are well documented and his demise was in fact tame in comparison to what other methods were used in that day and time. What is celebrated here is a man's last great act of defiance. When Willam Wallace screams" FREEEDOMM" at his end at the Tower of London , St.Lawrence had the courage and strength to say this to his executioners “It is well done. Turn me over!”
Those are pretty big balls. He can be my Saint of BBQ anyday.
