Great Job Tim! I'm sure I'm not the only one saying that you're efforts and hard work are greatly appreciated!

Hi Tim,

Rookie question: how do I sign up? I'm interested but the CBBQI link on the Wiki doesn't take me to a registration page, I see reference to Groupon but I'm not sure what I need to do. Also didn't catch whether you have finalized price or location after perusing your thread in Committees forum.

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who has registered. You should have received a welcome email with the address and other information, usually sent within 48 hours of registration. If you haven't (check your spam folder too), please contact me here on the forums or through the CBBQI contact page.

It went great! Weather was perfect and the venue was awesome. Thanks to Abel and Tim for acquiring that venue.
A lot of hard work went in to it before and during the class so a huge THANK YOU to all the instructors and volunteers that were there!!

Everything went great. Tim, did a great job taking the lead and making sure everything went smoothly. I'm not sure how I did in presenting Tri-Tip to the class since Andy A. decided to stay in Vegas for the World Foods and only gave us a few hours notice that he wasn't going to make it, but outside of that all the presentation had a ton of good information.

Hopefully we can do another one next year.

I feel really bad about missing the class and leaving you on the spot, I really didn't think we had a shot at making the top 10 and even when we did I was planning on leaving, but since it was all under my name the producers needed me to stay. It was pretty chaotic. Thank you Abel for stepping up. If any of the students would like the recipe for tri tip please PM me and I'll email it over. We actually ended up cooking tri tip for the finals. Again Im really sorry about missing the class it was never my intention. I'll be cooking the tri tip i had for the class for the American Smoke viewing

Andy, I'm glad you made it to the finals and really didn't expect you to come back and glad you didn't. I didn't mind stepping in at all and in fact I had a great time. I just know my presentation was probably a lot less informative than what you would have done.

If someone has a photo or photos from the class, it would be nice to post it on our front page. Great job guys. Andy had the perfect excuse for missing class! Congrats on that too.
