I don't know who the assigned reps are yet. However, Steve contacted me to remind him on how to pay his ToY fees, which I'm sure will be paid in the next day or so. Now all he needs is 25 teams to make it a qualifier this year!

Hi all-
I'm posting here what the blog page has been showing and hoping this answers some questions. Looking forward to the teams coming to Brentwood again this year or for the first timers!

***************
Don't forget this is a 100% KCBS Certified Judge Event.

Adding all our previous posts below as well so you can look at one page for all the facts.

Please note that the Brentwood Cookoff and Car Show in Brentwood CA is NOT associated with the previous Blues, Brews and BBQ previously held at the Streets of Brentwood. :acute:

This is a completely different event and our 5th annual event at that.

This event is held on a hard packed field surface covered in straw/grass and is not in the dirt as the Blues, Brews and BBQ event was.

It's in fact a totally different and better location off of Lone Tree Blvd.

Please also note that water will be provided, as well as cleaning stations.

Just clarifying this for everyone as there may be some confusion as to what event this is and the location.

Details-
  • This is a KCBS and CBBQA qualifying event.
  • This is a State Championship event and qualifying event for Jack Daniels.
  • The event is judged by 100% KCBS certified judges.
  • Total Prize money is UP this year for a total of $6500 (up from $4K last year); See the Brentwood Cook Off page on CBBQA for prize money breakdowns.
  • This event is a Special Kids Fundraising event which makes this not only a great BBQ event but a feel good event!
  • This is also a CBBQA Team of the year event.
  • Chili Cookoff -No additional fee beyond Cook Off entry fee!
  • Night before-Dinner-provided by Skipolini's!
  • Morning of-Breakfast-provided!
  • Great location off of Lone Tree in Brentwood CA with great parking area.
  • FAMILY FUN too! Car Show (classics) and kids funzone so bring your family!
  • Use of Indoor (flushing!) bathrooms for our Cooks! :hyper:
