What's wrong with Pbr?
It's a blue ribbon beer

Wow that would be a new twist to a comp. Your team of 2 has to finish the 12 pack before starting you're cook.

This is Coach Turner from SJSU. We would love to have all you support this event. We will set up all competitors inside the stadium from south end zone to the north diamond along the breeze way. We plan on having over 1000 people and appreciate your support.

This looks like a good cause and a fun day. Not too many opportunities to "Q" left.

Hey Coach, will that 12 pack offer extend to the judges, too?

Is it expected that all 5 racks should be cooked? That seems like a lot of racks.

Darn... this is my kind of Cook off! Unfortunately I'm cooking for a wedding that weekend! Bummer!

Have a great time everyone!

By the way "Is it expected that all 5 racks should be cooked? That seems like a lot of racks." do the math...

Beer + College kids + BBQ + Baseball = lots of ribs!

eek. 9 Racks now.

It seemed like a great opportunity for me to participate in a BBQ competition for fun, but all I've got is a single WSM. There's no way I could cook that many racks.

I once cooked 18 racks in a single 18" WSM with the extra Pro-Q insert. The only problem I ran into was not lighting enough coals initially to get the cooker up to temp so I had to add about 20 extra lit coals. After that it cooked like a charm!
